With the release of my first ever broadcast Television series “Kissing Frogs” and the upcoming seris “Dirty South” I had to wonder if I was going to continue to do the tv scene or head back to my roots of New Media. New Media(online) has it’s appeal, with everything being self-contained. So an indie such as myself can maintain it  Boradcast on the other hand I have to deal with a lot more elements(closed captions,station personal, spending money, etc.) Although television’s appeal is it is television and even n this day and age the average person is more likely to watch a show on tv than in front of their computer screen. With new media you can reach a larger audience, than broadcast, which is not to be confused with network tv. Broadcast usually refers to local chanels and stations. where the internet is potenailly millions of viewers.  The main question in the end is.. Does the end justify the means?

As we technology and changes continue in the industry, it is up to us, the independent to keep up with change. The Red one Camera is a hot prospective, the major down side though is the price. At about $30,000.00 That could be the only major set back.
